How WSO Translations Support ACA’s Global Growth

At ACA WSO, our mission is to carry the message of recovery and hope to adult children around the world. That message has helped countless people break intergenerational cycles of dysfunction, find healing, and build new lives.

Why Translation Matters

One vital way we help make that possible is through the translation and distribution of ACA literature – ensuring that the inner child can understand, connect with, and trust the message in their own language.

We’re proud to share that the Big Red Book has now been translated into 13 languages, with more on the way. From French to Italian, Japanese to Russian, each new translation expands access and brings ACA’s literature and hope to adult children who might otherwise never have discovered it.

Beyond the Books: Supporting Global Growth

But translation is just one part of how WSO supports the global ACA fellowship.

Our work extends beyond publishing – it includes outreach to groups, development of new resources, and ongoing efforts to nurture the recovery journey at every level. Whether someone is attending their first meeting or stepping into service, WSO exists to support that path.

Building Bridges, Strengthening Connection

As we look ahead, our goal is to keep building bridges – not just across languages, but across relationships. That means listening more closely to groups, supporting our groups, and strengthening the connection between WSO and the broader fellowship.

The Message Is More Than Words

Because the message of ACA isn’t just in our books – it’s in the way we serve action coming from love, the stories we share, and the trust we build together.
