The next ACA’s Annual World Convention (AWC) will take place on zoom on April 4&5, 2025.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the 'Choose the AWC Theme' survey. The results are in.
The theme of the 2025 Convention will be 'Feeling is Healing – Processing Trauma in ACA through Reparenting and Working the 12 Steps’.
If you would like to present a workshop or a panel at the next Convention, the applications will be open from November 1 to November 30, 2024.
Before you fill in your application, please prepare in advance the following information:
Presentation logistics:
- All presenters’ names and contact info
- All presenters summary of ACA recovery and service experience
- All Presenters’ Bio’s
- All presenters’ ACA workshop experience, other workshop experience
- Feedback received from previous presentations
- Preferred presentation date and time
Workshop offering:
- ACA group / intergroup / region sponsoring the presenter?
- Workshop style, focus, title-description, plan
- Expected learning / takeaways for participants
- Misc:
Workshop language, interpreter needed?

The ACA’s Annual World Convention (AWC) Planning Team is inviting you to explore whether participating in planning the next AWC is a service you would enjoy.
Why do service and volunteer your personal time? Have fun with other ACA members doing service around the world, break out of isolation, experience deeper healing, so we can have a World Conference. We can't do this alone but together we make the impossible possible.
The Annual World Convention (AWC) Planning Team is in need of volunteers from the international ACA community in different time zones, to help plan and coordinate the next virtual Convention.
Join us from:
- UK, Europe, Russia
- Africa
- Asia - West, South, East
- Australia and New Zealand
- Mexico, South/Central America
- USA/Canada
Types of Service you can provide (choose what activities call your heart):
Attend the AWC planning meetings regularly:
- participate in decisions about the Convention (theme and topics, date, times, schedule, etc.)
- review workshop submissions
- interview potential presenters
- inform the fellowship about the Convention (communication team)
- answer questions from the fellowship about the event (monitor the AWC email)
- support the presenters before and during the event
- recruit volunteers to do service at the event
Tech Host / Co-host during the Convention (express your interest about 2-3 months before the event)
