Inflation Cost Recovery Price Adjustment

Dear ACA Fellowship,

We are writing to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to ACA literature and product pricing that will take effect on July 15, 2026.

The last ACA literature price adjustment occurred in March 2025. Since that time, inflation has continued to increase the cost of printing, shipping, warehousing, and distributing ACA literature and recovery products. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPI), inflation increased approximately 4.8% from March 2025 through May 2026..

After reviewing these costs during April and May, the ACA Finance Committee recommended a modest inflation cost-recovery adjustment. The proposal was reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees and is being implemented to help ACA maintain the purchasing power necessary to continue providing literature, translations, publishing support, and other services that help carry the ACA message throughout the world.

Beginning July 15, 2026:

Product CategoryAdjustment
Big Red Book+$1.00
Soft-Cover Texts+$0.75
Chips and Medallions+$0.25

For example, the Big Red Book will increase from $23.00 to $24.00.

We recognize that this is a relatively short notification timeline for many members, groups, intergroups, and regions. The adjustment was presented during the June 13 Quarterly Board Meeting with the Fellowship; however, we understand that most members were not present for that meeting. For that reason, we are communicating this information directly and as promptly as possible.

The presentation from the June 13 Board Meeting is available on the WSO website. If you would like to review the presentation or share all or part of it with your groups, you can find it at the following link: https://acawso.org/2026/06/15/inflantion-cost-recovery-presentation-june-2026/

ACA remains committed to making literature as accessible as possible. Regional and intergroup discounts, translation support, and other affordability programs will continue to be available.

This adjustment is not intended to generate additional revenue. Rather, it is an effort to help offset a portion of the inflationary increases that have occurred since March 2025, allowing WSO to continue providing the literature and services that support recovery throughout our Fellowship.

Current pricing will remain available through July 14, 2026.

Thank you for your continued support of ACA and our shared purpose of carrying the message to adult children who still suffer.

In ACA service,

Bill Dalton, General Manager
and the
