- Other Info: Welcome/Guidelines to It Begins With US (IBWU) Noon ACA Meeting (IL193) Glad you made it here! We ask that members honor our guidelines for our closed (ACAs only) meeting. Newcomers are welcome. Please try to arrive 10 before starting time. Please sign in with your first name only. No admission 10 minutes after the start of the meeting. We are together for an hour. We introduce ourselves with our first name and where we are from. We have only ACA related announcements. We will read 5 minutes from our ACA Big Red Book. We stay in one large group. Each person will share one at a time without interruption for 3 to 4 mins. Some members may choose not to share but all are encouraged. We share our experience, strength and hope on what resonated with us from our BRB reading, or our SMR reading or what we learned from ACA this past week, or whatever is on our heart. Whatever is shared at this meeting is not repeated to anyone or gossiped about or the topic for conversation. There is no crosstalk. This is a safe sharing place. We rotate the chairperson’s (host) and co-host service positions every 3 months. A member who is on by phone can only be a chairperson. The host will be our leader/chairperson and guide us by reading the script/format. The co-host will screen share all our readings. Host and co-host may share to fill in the chat, and/or to be timekeeper. The chair cannot do the both the host and co-host at one meeting. Training by the co-host will be available during their service position. We ask capable members to step up to read our ACA material for our meeting. We will have our group conscience meeting the second Tuesday of the month. The chairperson or secretary will be our guide. We honor our 7th and are self supporting.
