I am not the tension in my shoulders
I am a warm summer breeze
I am not my hypertension
I am a warm summer breeze
I am not the give out in my knees
I am a warm summer breeze
I am not the tight muscles in my hips
I am a warm summer breeze
I am not the extra cushion around my waist
I am a warm summer breeze

I am not the anxiety that makes me feel like I am having a heart attack
I am a kiss from a fur baby
I am not the abuse I sustained as a child/teenager
I am a kiss from a fur baby
I am not shame or blame
I am a kiss from a fur baby
I am not the guilt from my parents
I am a kiss from a fur baby
I am not a bad girl
I am a kiss from a fur baby
I am not the problem
I am a kiss from a fur baby

I am not what I was told by my family
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not less than
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not not good enough
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not selfish
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not responsible for others
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not too much
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not a fraud
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not insecure
I am a ray of sunshine
I am not jealousy
I am a ray of sunshine

Link to recovery: WOW..... What an experience to write about how I have seen myself to how I want to see myself. This writing piece is eye opening because it shows me how hard I have been on myself. It also shows me how I see my Higher Power. It allows me to define some of the ideas that connect me to my True Parent. I am not every thought I think. I am not what others say I am. I get a say in who I AM.
