ACA Literature and New Interactive Workshop Could Reach One Million Incarcerated People

Late in 2025, ACA World Service Organization (WSO) contracted EDOVO, a company that
supplies digital content to incarcerated people. Since then, most of our ACAD literature in both
English and Spanish has been uploaded and could reach one million inmates!
The Hospital & Institutions Working Group, for 10 months, worked on this special interactive
workshop and, on October 6, 2026, WSO announced the A New Hope: ACA Beginner’s
Handbook workshop has been accepted and has gone live!
Since the initial launch of ACAD literature in early 2026, 6,883 incarcerated learners have
engaged with ACAD content, generating 9,511 starts and 2,116 completions across ACAD
materials, totaling 4,359 hours.
That’s putting Step 12 and Tradition 5 in action at the WSO level! We are proud to have
participated in this project as a team. It was a great experience, we had fun and today we are
celebrating!
