Communion with the Most High Power
(Church)
I did not feel a thing,
My son was with me,
We came to give thanks,
To remember you,
You offered communion,
We received you.
(Animal Sanctuary)
I communed with my son,
In the sanctuary of birds,
Animals hurt along the way,
Cared for by your servants,
Waiting for a visitation,
We came, we visited, you were there.
(Drive Home)
I grew tired on the journey,
I needed to close the eyes,
You showed us the wayside,
We were relieved amidst the pines,
Your winged messengers greeted us,
We were relieved of the encounter.
(Phone Calls)
The eye of my heart was awakened,
And my body pined for you,
I needed your help so I called,
You answered through a fellow,
Two fellows to be exact,
They spoke to me and their words were sweet.
(Arrival)
We reunited with my darlings upon the return,
We communed,
It was love at first sight,
We embraced,
It is.
I spoke sweetness in her ears for she was sweet.
(Lightning)
I walked the shore, looking for more,
I drove up the hill and you flashed your bolt,
The sky enveloped in bright white,
The breaking point before the shower,
The overflowing of your answer,
The answer to my yearning.
(Parking Lot)
I pulled aside, wrapped in amazement,
Ecstasy, fueling me, revisiting me, unannounced,
I was laid waste, no need for words,
I still spoke to you,
“I give you permission”,
You came in.
(Rain)
Your teardrops flooded my senses,
So be it, so be it, Amen, Amen,
I thought the right song will come,
And your monks sang,
They sang with gusto and might,
“Fall asleep by the Flash”.
(Second Parking Lot)
You visited me,
With a Flash,
I fell asleep,
Consumed by your presence,
I fell asleep, sweet release,
You did not take, but only gave.
