REMEMBER: Proposals for the 2023 ABC are due by September 30th.

NOTE: The easiest way to submit the form is to draft your proposal in a separate document, then copy and paste the various sections into Survey Monkey.
The September 30th deadline is just the next step in the Proposal Process.
If your group’s proposal would benefit from revision or clarification, you will have the month of October, and the assistance of the Ballot Prep Committee (BPC), to produce a final submission by October 31st – only if an initial proposal is submitted by September 30th.
When received, proposals are evaluated to see if they meet the standard of global relevance. If the Issue pertains only to an individual group or is something that could be resolved by an Intergroup or Region, the BPC will direct the submitting group to additional resources to address their proposal ideas.
Proposals are also assessed simply for understanding. Groups may be contacted for clarification of the Issue and other sections of the proposal if the ideas are vague or could be misinterpreted.
The Committee may also contact the submitting group if the proposal would fare better by being introduced directly to an appropriate WSO Committee for action or incorporation. The section “Implementation” asks that submitters discuss their proposal with an appropriate WSO Committee, where applicable. The BPC may suggest communicating with a committee, especially if the Issue could be incorporated into WSO without having to go through the Proposal Process.
